gift guide
Although I’m trying to make many of the gifts I’m giving this year, there’s still something to be said about finding a piece in store that’s just right for someone. When it comes to purchasing presents, I like to get things that the recipient will actually be able to use frequently. Since there are still a few months of cold weather after Christmas is over, cozy accessories that are both practical and stylish have been a top pick. Here are a few of my favourites from TOPSHOP Canada this season, including the blanket scarf that’s been ever so popular this year, and booties that I own and have been wearing constantly (seen here)!

sephora vancouver
We all know that Sephora does the cosmetics thing well – the brand has earned a solid reputation for being the one-stop shop for every make up and skincare need. Last week, I learned that they also really know how to throw a party: in celebration of their flagship opening on Robson Street, the brand went all out and hosted a two-day fete on Thursday and Friday complete with champagne, celebrity guests (Coco Rocha and Alexandra Richards were in attendance!), and even lipstick dancers.

And the new store is definitely a cause for celebration: aside from being the largest in North America (!!), the location features a Bumble & bumble hair studio for walk-in styling, a SEPHORA skincare studio, and even a VIB Rouge Studio that offers free services for Sephora Beauty Insider Rouge clients. The two story space is now open and if you’re in Vancouver, definitely worth checking out.
