My friendships with Alicia and Alex started off like any blogger relationship: with awkward and uncomfortable small talk at industry events, after months of interacting online. Through getting together for photoshoots, working together, and lots of conversation over the last few years, though, they have become near and dear to my heart. A Navy Moment
My wardrobe has been having a bit of a navy moment: lately, I've found myself increasingly drawn to this colour since it's just as classic, but feels a little more refined than basic black. It all probably started when this skirt (and blouse) arrived from PAPER LONDON; bold yet elegant, this up-and-coming Britain based label makes some of the coolest, most luxe "investment pieces" I've seen. Wishing you a bright and sunny Monday! Wearing: Joe Fresh chambray shirt, Zara cardigan, Levi's jeans, GiGi New York tote …

One of my favourite ways to spend an afternoon is to work, read, or catch up with a friend at a coffee shop. When it comes to the downtown core in Vancouver, Giovane Cafe the perfect spot for all three of those things (and more - they've also got Italian food, magazines, and lots of candy!). Located in The Fairmont Pacific Rim, it's an optimal spot for people watching and is also definitely an indulgent treat to eat there. And speaking of indulgent treats, their sugar buns are a must try - just …
