We all know that a good pair of jeans can be hard to find. I also feel that it’s doubly true when it comes to denim that isn’t dark washed: it seems much rarer for a lighter wash to be done well, since a lot of distressing can easily look cheap. These new jeans from Aritzia’s in-house denim line The Castings are certainly a gem: they not only fit perfectly (hello, super stretchy mid-rise!) but are also a perfectly faded, medium blue vintage wash… ideal for classic looks with a casual, easy twist.

spark sessionsThis is slightly off-topic, but I frequently receive emails with questions regarding how to grow a blog. And while I don’t think there is any one easy formula, I do think there are tools available to equip yourself and to learn. One such opportunity to do so is Spark Sessions! Spark Sessions is Canada’s first and only conference where over 200 fashion and beauty bloggers gather to learn and develop new skills to grow their blog, interact with industry experts and PR professionals, and network with fellow bloggers. This year’s Conference will be held in Toronto on November 15-16, and includes tools you’ll need to take your blog to the next level. Check out some of the incredible agenda here.

Additionally, Spark Sessions is giving away a trip to attend! One lucky blogger will win a Conference ticket, airfare to Toronto, a 2-night stay courtesy of Hotel Tonight, transportation to and from the Conference provided by Hailo, and an invitation to the VIP dinner where you’ll get to network with Conference speakers and sponsors. Be sure to enter by visiting the Spark Sessions blog!

  1. It looks great! :) I agree comfortable good-looking jeans are so difficult to find sometimes.

  2. Did you just hide the long hem by folding in?

Look at lot more polished if you have them professionally altered with the original hem attached back on.

  3. Tell me about this watch! I want it! It is gorgeous on you but I feel like it may be a little masculine for me. How versatile is it? Iightweight? Quality? Worh the money?
