Originally I had wanted to create a post filled with casual outfits as an ode to Coachella, but as I was Polyvore-ing away I quickly realized that, one, these looks were not exactly music festival appropriate, and two, that there was a trend forming in the items I was picking. So instead of forcing myself to put together outfits to wear at an event that I will probably never want to go to in my life, I just ran with it and voila- a little bit of girly and a little bit of brightness for the weekend.

  1. Great sets! I love the colors! Pink and yellow look great together always. I just made a similar set featuring Robin’s Egg Blue and Goldenrod. My “Goldenrod” is pretty much your “Sunshine” :)

  2. Love the pops of mustard showing up to give interest to the blush. You have such amazing style Jen!

  3. SO SO SOOOO GOOD! I love the last two sets, but my favorite is the second one (but switch the flats with the leopard ones!) :) I’m dying to get a pair of pointy-toed leopard flats. The search continueeessss… :)

  9. I love everything! Especially the mustard coloured shorts. I really need a nice bright pair! I’m secretly happy that you chose to do this instead of Coachella.. it seems like every single fashion blog is creating outfits for the event.. which I also, will probably never attend (although I wish I could!).

  11. I LOVE the outfits! I’d have to agree with you that they’re not necessarily music festival-esque, but still so lovely nonetheless.

I forgot to tell you too but a few other Van bloggers (604 fashionista, coco and vera, girl and closet, hearted girl) are meeting up on the 24th for a little blogger get-together around 2 pm! If you have some time that day, let me know! I think we’re just going to hit up Chill Winstons and hang out there.

Hope you’re having a lovely weekend!
