her waise choice makeup
As I’ve been simplifying my wardrobe and life over the past year or two, that mentality has naturally spilled over into my beauty routine. Lately, I’ve been trying to master a “No Make-Up Make-Up” look and paring down my daily routine, both in length of time required and number of products used. I’ve managed to trim it down to the products shown below, and am generally done in five minutes flat in the mornings. Scroll down to read about my favourites, and enter the Sephora giveaway below!
best cc cream
stila cc cream
This CC Cream has taken the place of every other foundation or tinted moisturizer I’ve tried. It’s a little daunting since it comes out of the tube green, but it blends in perfectly and gives just enough coverage while remaining natural. It also has SPF and has seemingly evened out and calmed my skin, which are obviously welcomed side-effects.
best concealer
I have the worst under eye circles and this stuff works wonders. I’m usually open to trying different brands and varieties of any given product, but this concealer is something that I will probably use forever. I finally understand what people mean when they say that something is their “hg”!
everyday make up
I don’t use this every day, but this palette is great for days when I want my eyes to pop a little bit more. The colour on the bottom left is a great base to brighten eyes, and I use the darker brown to add depth.
her waise choice make up
bobbi brown gel liner
I love a good cat-eye since there are so many variations and differing intensities you can do depending on mood. This gel liner is the best for creating a rich, saturated line that doesn’t budge over the course of the day.
make up
benetint
I’ve fallen in love with cheek tints thanks this product – I was initially a little bit intimidated by the shocking density of colour, but it blends in so naturally and finishes off a natural look with a subtle splash of colour.

  4. My routine is pretty simple as well as it only consists of eyeliner, mascara, foundation, and lip colour but I need to figure how to do all of it faster! What’s your secret in doing it all under 5 min?

  5. So excited about the sephora on robson street! Would love to win!
Loving all your pictures, they are so professional and gorgeous.

  6. Wow. Love that all this can be done in five minutes. As a new mama trying to find products and a routine that will leave me looking refreshed (hide the fact I’ve had few hours of cconsecutive sleep…a luxury for mamas ha!) and requires little time to execute! Thanks for sharing :)

  7. I love Benefit’s Gimme Brow eyebrow gel, as well as Fresh’s Sugar Lip Treatment. Two products I wouldn’t want to live without! This is also an ideal no-makeup makeup look, and you look gorgeous!

  8. Oh I love seeing tips on good concealers, definitely in the market for a new one! Would love to be considered for the prize, super excited about the new Sephora opening this Friday!

  9. Great idea a go-to simple makeup routine. I have, what seems to be a mini-sephora and half the time is wasted trying to get my products together for my day. Perhaps, I should create a simple routine that can fit into a cosmetics pouch to cut back on time.
