Regardless of how pasty I currently am (or the fact that I will likely remain this pale all summer since I can’t tan… I only burn), I’ve been longing to pull out warm weather brights and breezy dresses for at least the last 4 months now. But then again, who hasn’t? The sun has been out lately but it’s been deceiving; I feel even colder now than I did months ago in the dead of winter. However, that won’t stop me from waking up every morning with the hope that it has finally warmed up enough to dress according to the bright, cheery skies… and brave the cold for some photos to prove it.

Wearing: Tristan & America merino wool cardigan, RACHEL Rachel Roy dress (and slip inside), Hue tights, Aldo wedges, Coach bag, random flower from a dress, Joe Fresh bracelet

  1. Holy cow!!! I love this! That purple is absolutely incredible on you! The print of the dress is SO fun and I love the flower detail too.

You really look amazing! AND – when we’re old, we’re going to be the hot chicks because we won’t have wrinkles from tanning. Being pale now will pay off later!

Also yes I agree with Melissa about tanning!!! Jergens is a great natural self tanner:)

  3. I love the complexity and bright pop. It certainly drives the winter doldrums away.

  9. Such a great color on you! My wardrobe is so monochromatic, but lately I’ve been excited to try out more color come spring. Of course, the temperature dropped and tonight it’s snowing. Spring will get here eventually!

Oh, and I think I tan but I honestly never try. I never really liked the look one way or the other so I just do what I do. Then I was in MAC one day chatting with the make-up artist and she said she loved my “porcelain” look. I never thought of it that way and totally loved the idea. So now I don’t tan, I rock a “porcelain look”. Ha!

Have a great weekend, sweets. xo
