neutral outfit
I always find myself wanting to dress in light neutrals whenever the cherry blossoms bloom each spring. And with the incredible weather we’ve been having out west lately (sorry, rest of North America), this trench from Club Monaco via Lyst has been perfect for just that. Since it was originally way too long for my frame to be flattering, I got the flowy piece shortened by about six inches. Although I wasn’t sure how it would drape after chopping so much off, the risk paid off — and I’m sure it will prove to be a wardrobe staple for years to come.

P.S. These pumps are also another great neutral addition and officially the most comfortable heels in my closet.

P.P.S. Please excuse my hair. I need a haircut. Also, the wrinkly jacket is thanks to hours of sitting in the car prior to this shoot. Full disclosure here.
