Crisp white blouse, dark skirt, gold, red… feeling a little like Carolina Herrera in this very simple outfit.
p.s. After a couple of weeks of not feeling too enthused about blogging, I’m back and ready to roll. It’s good to take a break sometimes. A full week of posts coming right up!

  1. Loving this classy look! White always looks so fresh and clean. I like how you added the gold belt. Puts a nice touch to the overall look.

  2. I have been eyeing these shoes for weeks! you are definitely encouraging me to make the purchase! The skirt is a perfect fit for you and so adorable!

I totally agree with taking a break here and there. Ever since getting back from NYC for fashion week, I have felt exhausted and unmotivated-hope I get out of it soon!

  11. You can never go wrong with classic pieces, but nothing about this look is simple or basic… You’ve put all of the pieces together impeccably. I love the length and cut of your skirt, but it’s those Zara shoes that really get me. I love the two tones of brown!

PS: Your lip colour is gorgeous, too.

  12. This outfit is so amazing! I love the vintage vibe that the skirt and shoes give it, but how you made it modern with the clean white shirt!

  13. My lovely lovely, Jen. Gosh, you’re so beautiful. :) This look and these photos are fabulous. We’re both sporting tulip skirts in our most recents posts, except your look a lot more amazing in yours! SO CHIC.

I hope your week has started off nicely. Happy Monday!!

p.s. Blogging breaks are totally needed. Sometimes it’s nice to step back and not “worry” about the blog. LOL. I’m super excited to see the upcoming posts, tho! Yay!

  14. Great outfit! You look so classy. The slightly messy pony though makes it a touch more fun and of course the red lips as well!

  15. great blue skirt, it looks ace with the white, very carolina!

i bought those shoes at the weekend! still can’t wear them very far, but i’m working on getting back into high heels after a summer of ballet flats!
