I’ve had this Phillip Lim for Target dress sitting in my closet for a few weeks now, but hadn’t quite known how to style it for the shifting weather. This Maje belt, found on major sale a little while ago, was just the inspiration needed to throw on the right layers to bring it into October. It’s been a slow week (mostly due to a bout of stomach flu that began on Monday – the worst!), but I’m looking forward to a restful weekend with church and a few catch ups over good meals with friends and family. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!

  1. Sorry about the stomach flu! Those are never pleasant.
I like the flower print of this dress. With the belt, it reminds me of a kimono.

  2. Jen! I really do adore the new blog layout. Looks amazing and fresh! I think that’s what my blog needs, too! hee hee.

I love this look as well. I bought this dress when the collection launched, but have yet to wear it. It’s such a fun and unique piece and the cut and silhouette of the dress is so flattering on so many body types. I like how you paired it with booties. Makes me want to do the same.

Well, I hope you’re enjoying the rest of the weekend. Oh and Happy Early Thanksgiving!!

    xx Love & Aloha
