The windowsill has become one of my favourite areas in the bedroom: aside from the fact that it’s where all the natural lighting comes in from, it also houses all of my current jewelry picks and other pretty things. I like having my options out in the open, and this set up makes it fun to add the finishing touches to my outfits before heading out. How do you store your jewelry?

{my current favourite necklaces hang in plain sight for easy accessorizing}

{my most worn studs & bracelets in the gold bowl – rings & other knick-knacks in a thrifted ashtray}

{A second jewelry stand holds earrings and also doubles up as a sunglasses holder}

{perhaps not the most aesthetically pleasing storage solution, but a blank wall provides hanging space for additional necklaces}

{a gold tray from a thrift store holds well-loved scents, candles, and various other goodies}

  1. I store a lot of my jewelry and accessories out too on a big jewelry tree and in a bunch of glass bowls I got from Ikea. I love that thrifted gold tray – so perfect for perfumes!

  3. Very artistic way to organize your jewels and sunnies… but what about dust?
    I usually store them in big boxes inside a cupboard.

    I am following you via google friend.

  4. This looks so beautiful!
    What a pretty collection of jewelery – and decorated in such a nice way!

  5. I love this idea! My windowsill is not large enough for this but I sure does look cute! I always adore your accesoiries, you have the prettiest necklaces ever! xo Nikki

  6. I love open concept jewelry and perfume storage like yours, but I keep mine in see-through casings so it does not collect dust :)

  7. I love your set up! Very pretty and well-organized! However, I didn’t think about the dust issue, which other people mentioned. It’s a good thing to consider.

  8. MAN I just wanna hop into the screen and play with all your jewels.

  11. Lovely set-up! I’m terrible at storing jewelry away in a tangled mess in my drawer. I should take a cue from you and organize it with pretty stands and dainty bowls.

  12. My jewelry is all arranged in a little storage drawer set, as well as a couple of open trays on my bureau. I don’t know about anybody else here, but being a disorganized person, I’m terrible at misplacing things. If I don’t keep it all in one small area, I lose it very quickly. Your set up is very beautiful, though. :)

  13. I’m in love with your jewelry display!! Where did you get your jewelry stands? I never see them around in vancouver :S right now all my jewelry are tucked away in the drawer in different drawer sets and boxes, and this makes it hard for me to remember to accessorize because i don’t see them lol.

  14. Wow this is really pretty – and functional! Your neatness motivates me to clean my room HAHA! I like how everything looks prettier with the natural light too :)

  15. Great post, very inspirational! I got some good ideas from it!

  18. This is so clever and beautiful Jen! I wish my window sill was big enough to hold all of that haha. I’m seriously in love with the gold tray – I’ve been trying to look for one, but no luck :(

  22. This set up is amazing! I’ve been looking for ways to reorganize my ever-expanding jewellery and makeup collection, so I’ll definitely be incorporating this into my ideas :)

  23. Sorry, I wanted to write something longer. Thanks so much for this post. My jewelry are all over the place and I usually stacked them in the drawers, but storing them by the window is a better idea.

  24. What a beautiful selection of jewelry! Love the set up… especially how open everything is! I just keep mine in closed boxes because I don’t have the space, but this post has inspired me to look for a new way to display them!

  25. I do window sill accessories organization, too. THe only problem is that our window sills don’t have much real estate, so I can’t put everything out. They’re all in little, tiny tea cups and crystal candle holders.

    Very much love your display. Can’t wait to have a window with more worthy space to command.
