Busy Bee

February 1, 2013

This past week has been one of the busiest of my life. Without going into too much detail, there have been numerous projects which have sprung up, seemingly out of nowhere… and all at once! I feel immeasurably blessed and joyful about it all and it’s definitely been one of those instances where it feels like everything in the past has worked together for a purpose. I’m excited to share more with you soon, but in the meantime, here’s a casual & comfortable look I wore to meet with the Style Common ladies this past week (which is one of the exciting projects!). Have a great weekend!

Wearing: YesStyle shirt and vest, Talula (Aritzia) jacket, H&M trousers, Zara shoes (similar), MICHAEL Michael Kors bag, Board of Trade Co. hat

I cannot wait to hear more of what’s been going on with you and the Style Common! In addition to being super excited for YOU, I’m also super excited that Canadian bloggers are getting some awesome recognition and the ability to work on some really cool things! I love this outfit, especially the pants & shoes combo! The deep red & leopard are gorgeous together! Happy Friday, beauty! xo!

I can’t wait to hear about these projects you’re working on, especially the biggest one of your blog life that you mentioned on Twitter! Your outfit is such a classic look and the hat is a nice finishing touch.

Lovely outfit! Also I love the line from your bio,

“be stylish without being superficial, on trend without being a slave to fashion and look good without looking down on others”

So refreshing in a world with so much fashionable superficiality!

This outfit is so Rachel Zoe but so much better. It’s probably because of the hat and the faux fur vest, but still, I think you pull off the boho biz chic look better than most, and I think it’s because you found what suits your body down to a T. I really think your style is RIDIC amazing. I have to shake my head whenever I stumble upon your pictures in Instagram, because I am so envious you have your style nailed down so early. I’m so old and I still haven’t figured it out. 🙂
