When asked about my favourite designers, Moschino is not typically at the top of my list. Sure, it’s humorous and it’s hip, but many of the pieces are just too loud and eccentric (is that the word I’m looking for?) for my taste…. namely the all-the-rage logo letter belts and all of the bold pieces laced with fashion insider jokes from Cheap & Chic Fall 2010. That’s why I was all the more surprised when I came across these pieces. Girly and whimsical without losing it’s fun-with-fashion attitude, Moschino Cheap & Chic has come out with a gorgeous collection for Resort 2011 that I think reaches out to a new audience but still appeals to the hearts that they have already captured.

The classic black and white blouses, the Chanel-esque pumps, the pretty details in the form of flowers and bows– I want it all!

P.S. Sorry I haven’t been posting! I’m currently doing an intensive two week class at school (studying a language!) so my whole life has been studying for the last week!

RE your comment: I don’t think that skirt’s current anymore but it was one of those f21 “fab deals” or wtvr they’re called and there were 3-4 different patterns to choose from.

  4. Wow I never would’ve guessed Moschino if I were to see these photos without knowing first who the designer was. Very pretty and yes, whimsical for sure.

yeah the blazer is meant to be a bf cut, but it still fits well, which I like.

lol, I actually just have tons of these plastic trays that I throw all my jewelry into. I should really organize that better one day.

She’s just using the kit lens that the camera came with, nothing special, but she has a great eye for lighting and angles :)

  5. I know what you mean about authentic Chinese food being better but if you get a chance to check out Bao Bei in Chinatown, I promise you won’t be disappointed; the food is delicious! esp for fusion.

and yes, Follow Me Foodie has all kinds of great reviews and recommendations for places to eat around the city.

I’m actually Chinese-Korean, but i think that was a first for someone thinking that i’m Taiwanese haha, I’m guessing that you are?

  6. Those outfits are so chic. I couldn’t have guessed they’re from Moschico.
