Finding a good dress can be a frustrating experience: I often seemingly try on dozens before finding the perfect one for a given occasion. Sometimes, though, you come across a garment that you put on and instantaneously feel good in… and this Obakki dress, with all of its suede and sequin intricacies, was definitely one of those pieces. I received it at the end of last year and, after wearing it for a holiday event, thought it would sit at the back of my closet until next December. Toned down with a new favourite white moto jacket, however, it unexpectedly worked perfectly for a recent night out.
