{retro/modern – a 70s inspired look appropriate for the 2011 girl}
I rediscovered my love for Polyvore today, and disregarding cost and practicality (for the most part), had some fun in creating a few dream spring/summertime ensembles inspired by my personal renditions of the trends that we saw on the runways last September. Enjoy!

I’m trying to decide if I can justify that Missoni skirt! It’s gorgeous!
Playing dress up is always fun but making an outfit palette on the screen is the same thrill! Except we don’t have to change out of clothes, lol. I discovered H&M’s fitting room and I amuse myself all the time with outfit matches.
My favorite look is the city chic, LOVE coral!!! By any chance do you have a suggestion for coral lipstick? Been on the hunt for ages after the Lancome one a year ago sold out like crazy.
Super idea!! The red skirt with that black heels would look amazing!!
and yes.. the city chic look is also wOW!!
OMG..that wide brimmed hat is to DIE FOR.
I have a really great Helen Kaminski hat that I can’t WAIT to take out and wear as soon as the warm weather hits.

I like the bold outfit. I’m always too much of a wus to pair bright colors, but I really should get over that!

I only did my first Polyvore outfit, and I absolutely adore it. I like that you can control pricing, too.

lovely collages! i love that first shirt dress. the print is so nice.
xx
You have such a great eye for taste! All of these are fab, but I love the geometric prints of outfit #1 the best. I haven’t been on polyvore for ages, but I do remember how addictive and inspiring it is! Some of the people are truly collage artists.
Great looks! I think I have to learn how Polyvore works too.
