Island Stroll

May 19, 2011

Both a must see spot for tourists and a treasured gem for locals, Granville Island is one of my favourite afternoon date locations in the warmer months. David and I spent a few hours there on one of the rare sunny days we were blessed with.Though it has many nooks and crannies, I am partial to the Net Loft, which features a whimsical collection of crafts, gifts and all things creative, and the Public Market: a treasure cove where you can find anything from artisan chocolates to fresh produce, beautiful flowers to decadent pastries… and the best chicken pot pie the city has to offer.

Wearing: RACHEL Rachel Roy blouse, ASOS skirt, Club Monaco belt, Nine West shoes, Michael Kors sunnies, purse from local boutique

Still glad that some are still wearing tights and hosiery. Adds a hint of flirtation to any outfit. Love the colors together!

Love the blue skirt with the black-and-white print top!

The boy and I really like Granville Island too. We usually stick to the Net Loft and eat our way through the Granville Island Public Market lol. The French onion soup pot pie from the pie place is one of his favourite dishses.

I almost bought that skirt a few months ago! I saw it on another blogger, actually, but I think it was red? And then I fell in love with the blue one. Too funny.

Anyway, it looks lovely on you and I love that you paired it with the printed blouse. I wouldn’t have thought to do that, but it looks so perfect. One of the (many) reasons I love your blog, you’re the epitome of fashion inspiration!

Granville Island is one of my favourite afternoon date locations too. My bf and I like to wander around, listen to the local buskers, and eat fish & chips from Go Fish.

    Love your outfit, as usual!

I always fall head over heels for everything in her collections, and this blouse is no exception 🙂 Hope you’re having an amazing trip!

Love your outfit! Especially the pantyhose, where did you get them?

I’ve been to Vancouver so many times…but I’ve never been to Granville Island, my friends did suggest it but I never made it out there. I’m going again this summer, so I definitely will have to check it out!
