While it can sometimes be a frustration, one of the wonderful things about personal style blogging is that I’ve gotten the chance to really observe each season and the little intricate details of how the weather changes throughout the year. I love the way the vibrancy of the late autumn trees bring out the colours in an outfit; it’s days like these that make me forget about the oncoming long Canadian winters and appreciate the beautiful fall foliage for what it is.

  1. So beautiful! We’ve already moved into winter weather here, and even though it’s still not snowing, days have become terribly dark and gloomy… :o(

    You look gorgeous!!!

  2. So pretty! There isn’t a single leaf left on a tree out here in TO.
Our pretty colours have been gone for weeks now :(

    super cute outfit too ;)

  3. Beautiful photos, Jen! I am surprised you still see leaves on the trees in Vancouver. It’s pretty much winter here in the states.

  4. You’re looking all kinds of cute, miss Jen! I love the skirt, especially! Gorgeous! And I think I have that same snood, only you’ve wrapped it differently – I love it this way, it looks SO cozy! We are well beyond pretty leaves here! Just bare branches!

  5. You look so pretty :) That last photo is just priceless! Your snood looks so warm and cosy :) and that skirt has an amazing peachy colour! x

  7. Agh I am SO jealous of you for that CM skirt! It’s honestly so cute and fits you like a glove. I know what you mean about being more in touch with the seasons, I feel like since I’ve started blogging I’m much more present in every season and am almost able to take advantage of what each offers more fully! Beautiful look as always love, can’t wait to see you again tonight!

  8. I love seeing you in our skirt Jen! But I’m also a bit sad, because I spilled something on mine today… Keep your fingers crossed that the dry cleaner can get it out! You look stunning as always. I love that fur snood :)

  9. The texture of your coat looks really lush in the second photograph. I love seeing the trees full of leaves for autumn and they’re a lovely colour. Hope you have a good rest of the week!

  10. How have I not come across your blog before! Your photos are lovely, and your style is fantastic! On top of that you’re Canadian. Even better ;)
