I’m not sure how it all began, but for as long as I can remember I’ve equated my pale skin with not being able to pull off lighter colours and pastels. As such, I’ve tended to always reach for the darker colours when getting dressed. Making the decision to buy less clothing has forced me to be more creative with what I already have, and lately that’s meant playing with different colour combinations that I haven’t tried in the past. I pulled together this look with all light neutrals the other day and I don’t know why I was so against it in the past – I quite liked “lightening up”! Have a great weekend!

I find monochrome light colours wash me out pretty terribly, but I LOVE this look. It looks so pretty on you!
I completely agree with you, in the past I was also a little reticent to this soft tones, but now I just can’t stop loving them! You did it perfectly!
