#AmexLife

December 8, 2014

In a time of year as hectic for everyone as this one is, it feels almost redundant to write about how crazy things have been. As cliche as it sounds, stepping back and savouring the every day moments has been central to remaining focused. When Amex Canada reached out and asked me to share what it means for me to live life to the fullest, I quickly said “yes” and started thinking about how that’s defined for me.

For me, realizing my potential has come to mean focusing on what really matters. And practically speaking, that’s meant finding little ways to enrich even the simplest of moments to make them special. Whether it is surprising a friend with “just because” flowers, bringing a book to a coffee shop to get re-inspired with an old hobby (baking, in my case!), or paring down my wardrobe to consist of quality pieces that will last, my definition of potential is simply injecting joy and purpose into the every day.

American Express Canada believes that exploring your passions and interests can help you to live a richer and more fulfilling life and that you should be empowered to realize your potential. Every day, Amex Canada helps people realize their potential by offering more choice and better service when it comes to everyday transactions.

I’ll be sharing some of my enriched every day moments via my Instagram throughout the month of December. Share your own inspiring photos and videos of how you’re living an enriched life using the hashtag #AmexLife and tagging @AmexCanada!

Love your definition of potential, Jen! And love that you’re baking. I’m excitedly making fudge next weekend (so easy) to give out as Xmas gifts. Such a relaxing way to spend an afternoon. Plus you look smashing, love, love your hair!! xo
