{Adorable cupcakes by Coco Cupcakes}

Last Thursday night, I was given the opportunity to attend an event to preview the Spring collection of Canadian designer dace. Described as a label that “possesses sophisticated modern lines” and “classic femininity”, the pieces were sweet, soft and completely wearable. Lucky for you international readers, dace ships worldwide and I highly suggest you check out their online shop to peruse their affordable and quality pieces here!

  1. I love how tiny you look next to Niki and how we look the same standing next to each other haha, oh the Asian petiteness! You’re absolutely darling in person, so it was lovely to finally meet you! Glad you managed to snag a cupcake, they were all gone by the time I left haha, but I shouldn’t be so surprised. I love your orange coat, vintage, right? I remember from when you first posted about it, the colour is gorgeous and looks great in contrast to your dark hair. You have the prettiest smile, Jenn! Hope to see you again soon xo

  2. Fun! Those cupcakes look fantastic…pretty certain that I could have eaten 20 or so :) Love the line…the neutrals are fantastic :)

  3. This looks fun, and I love your dress with those leopard print heels! :)

  4. Cutest cupcakes EVER! I really love the dace line. It’s so simple and chic, and clean cut. The lines really just are so clean and streamlined.

    It’s a stupid description, I lack eloquence this early in the AM (11AM!).

    I love this. Thanks for posting about this brand!

  5. Such a great collection! I’m definitely going to have to check it out myself.

    Looks like you and your boyfriend both have excellent taste in shoes :P

  6. Oh glad you enjoyed the preview! I had such fun writing about the spring collection for Vancouver Fashion eZine and the clothes are amazing in person, aren’t they?

    Vancouver is SUCH a small world–Felix and I are good friends! I talk to him most days via gchat or salsa classes or events lol; in fact, the mambo class I was running off to was one he’s in too, and he and my boyfriend carpool to these events a lot. I asked him about you and he remembers chatting with you at church.

  7. I love your blog and your style.

  9. Look at you in your leopard kitten heels, aww! They’re my faves.

    Okay, I love dace! I’m a fan of them on Facebook, actually. I can’t remember where I first came across the company but I love the designs! Congrats on getting to experience the event and hang out with other bloggers. It looks like such fun!

  10. I don’t know how I missed you! Oh well, glad you had such a fabulous time though! Love the coat, that pop of colour looks beautiful.
