I’m not one for just lying on the beach and baking in the sun for the whole day, but I can’t deny how absolutely wonderful it is to walk along its vicinity and enjoy the warmth and gentle breezes. In Vancouver we’re blessed to have beaches enveloped with greenery and mountains that seem to stretch on for miles, and last week the bestie and I took that all in after an afternoon of shopping.

Happy 4th of July, dear American readers!

  1. Just beautiful! I love how you are always so put together no matter what the occasion! I especially love that you can wear heels most of the time. On the weekends you will rarely catch me in heels, I can only seem to tolerate them for work when I’m mostly sitting down or only for a couple hours at most.

  2. Oh man do I love this post! What a great outfit!

I miss shopping with the BFF. She lives so far away (Las Vegas), but although an ocean separates us, we’re still as close as can be.

Here’s to a wonderful week, Jen!

  13. I’m absolutely with you, Jen- just sitting on the beach isn’t my favourite, but I can’t deny the appeal of the Stanley Park/seawall area for a sunny day walk :) I’m really loving your return to classic, lasting pieces. If your wardrobe is any indication, Albert Elbaz is a truly brilliant man. Can’t wait to meet you on Saturday!
