This year’s Vancouver winter has definitely been one of the mildest in recent history; it’s only February, and some days don’t even require a winter coat anymore (sorry East Coasters, totally not trying to rub it in!). As such, a sweater jacket has been the perfect early transitional piece: while it’s certainly not as substantial as a traditional topper, the thicker fabric and heavier weight provide a little more warmth than say, a cotton trench would. This one has been doing the  job marvelously lately and I especially love that it makes a statement with its buffalo plaid print at the same time.

  1. There is something just so “clean” about this look, Jen!! The black and white palette (always a favourite of mine!) with the greenish grey of your moto-inspired skinnies is really appealing…and those Perspex-heeled pumps are waaay cool!!

  3. Love this outfit. Especially the sweater jacket. I just discovered your Blog today while google searching since i’ve been unsatsfied with other petite blogs that are not really my style. Better yet, you’re a woman of Faith. I respect what you wrote in your about me section. I think a lot of these fashion blogs inspire a lot of materialism sometimes, and non affordable outfits. Awesome girl!
