I purchased this floral piece (worn as a dress here) several months ago with high hopes: with its lovely print and figure flattering shape, I pictured it as a dress that I could wear frequently into and during the summer. While that still holds true, and even though a dress is always a great way to throw a quick outfit together, the number of ways that it can be styled can sometimes be limited. Luckily, this particular dress happens to be a wrap dress, and as I was threw it on the other day I realized that it actually worked very well as a cardigan. I feel like I’ve tripled the possibilities with this piece – like shopping without spending a dime!

Wearing: Wilfred dress (worn as cardigan), YesStyle blouse, 7 For All Mankind pants, Zara shoes, Club Monaco necklace (old), OPI Paint my Moji-toes Red
The first picture of you is GORGEOUS!!!
Plus love everything else about this post! Especially the cardigan/dress! 🙂

So pretty Jen! You’re gorgeous in that first photo and I love our hair. It’s so nice to find different ways to wear a piece of clothing and you’ve styled this dress so perfectly as a cardigan!

Absolutely brilliant and gorgeous! I bet no one else has thought about using those Wilfred wrap dresses as a cardigan. Now what about the sleeveless ones?

I’m so jealous you can wear Zara shoes! wish they made these and the captoes in 5’s.
What a smart idea, Jen! Way to get the most our a dress (and agreed, there really aren’t that many ways to make a dress different). Extra beautiful photos, I almost did an outfit shoot at the exact same glass/green bush spot. You know how I feel about glass photos lol! Hope to see you soon darling xo
That floral jacket is amazing! I love the structured bag too. You look so cute!
I am in LOVE with your shoes and how you transformed a dress into a casual cardigan!

This is gorgeous, Jen! I love everything about it! Such a clever idea to wear a wrap dress as a cardigan! It looks amazing styled this way! And when did your hair get so long?! It looks extra pretty here, m’dear! xo.
This is just brilliant, Jen! I almost bought this dress, but I hedged, thinking I wouldn’t be able to find enough unique ways to wear it. Seeing it on you as a cardigan has me deeply regretting that!

Omg Jen! This is stunning – one of my favourite looks of yours for sure. I love the floral dress worn as a cardigan, it’s definitely inspired me to take a peek at my own wrap dresses and see if I can swing it myself :). You look beautiful as ever pal – hope I see your pretty face soon!

Ahh, that genius! I love finding new uses for classic pieces. Sadly all the wrap dresses I own are “faux” wrap dresses, so there’s really a seam, but if I ever fulfill my dream of getting a classic DVF version I will definitely be giving this a try.
Fantastic idea to wear the wrap dress as a cardigan! It definitely works and looks pretty with the rest of the outfit.
