Trench Vest

September 30, 2015

all saints vest
Ahh, fall – the season of outerwear. I’m ushering it in with open arms thanks to another piece I chose from AllSaint’s Pacific Centre store: this beautiful, draped trench vest (see the first piece I picked here). It’s soft, flowy, and adds just the right amount of interest to a simple look. And the best part? When wrapped and cinched, this piece plays double duty and can be worn as a dress! I feel like this vest is teeming with styling possibilities and I’m looking forward to playing with it this season. How would you style it?

I’ve been seeing these trench vests everywhere lately! Cool to see one styled on someone.

This is such a lovely look. I’ve been a little hesitant to try to trench vest because of my short height, but pairing it with some skinnies and heels seems to be the way to go!

Thanks Kris! Yes, it’s definitely a little bit harder given my height but heels definitely help a lot! Perhaps hemming is an option, as well 🙂

Beautiful vest and I think it will look great with a simple dress or chic culottes too!

This trench vest is amazing!! I adore trench coats but it’s difficult finding a good one since the arm lengths is normally longer than my own arms due to my petite size – so this is a wonderful solution! I love it, and my simple jewelry will match it awesomely!

Hey Jen! Before I get to how gorgeous you look in that outfit, just want to say I totally love your short about me bio (especially about being fashionable but not looking down on others)! It’s a great philosophy you have. I’ve never had a trench vest yet but seeing it on you makes me want to go get one right now haha. Love to see more posts from you!
