I have a confession to make: I, a once self-proclaimed “bigger-is-better” statement jewelry wearer, cannot remember the last time I wore dangly earrings of any size. If you scroll through the pages of this blog, I don’t even think there’s been a single pair in sight for a good couple of months. These days, I can’t help but prefer the way that smaller studs provide a touch of femininity and refinement without distracting the face. While I’m not ruling out the wearing of bold earrings for good, here are some lovely & affordable pairs that have caught my eye for the time being.

What are you wearing on your ears?

  1. I’m the same. I like bold earrings and would love to wear long dangly earrings. It doesn’t seem professional at work and seem too fussy on the weekends playing with my little girl. My pearl and diamond studs get heavy rotations during the week. I love silver too so there’s some semi-hoops that cling close to my lobes — that’s about it. I read somewhere though that women with dark hair should wear brighter colours even if it’s just studs so those emeralds and red earrings would look lovely on you!

I’ve seen those white enamel flower earrings somewhere locally but not Kate Spade for sure. Now I’m going to go berserk trying to remember!

  2. You naughty girl! How’m I supposed to be on a shopping ban when you post amazing studs like these?

I want ALL OF THEM. Espesh the bow studs.

    So mad I can’t shop.

  3. Love these stud earrings! I wear both kinds – studs and “danglies”. But the dangly earrings are never over the top. Definitely no statements in my ears ;-)

  4. I used to wear a lot of dangly earrings when I was younger but now I think I’ve settled on studs as well. Unless it’s a super fancy occasion you will always see studs in my ears! The thing is I always manage to lose my earrings a lot, something will brush by my ear and then the back will fall off or the whole earring, I just lost one yesterday! :(

  5. I thought I was the only one! I’ve been wearing stud earrings a lot recently. My t o o d l e s cameo earrings get worn a lot.

  6. I love the emerald-colored Juicy ones. I usually don’t wear studs (except classic pearl studs), I am a sucker for chandelier earrings.

  7. I actually got my ears double-pierced just so I could always wear studs and dangling earrings at the same time! I tend to gravitate more toward studs, but I always wear dangling earrings when my hair is up. It creates a nice symmetry, I think.

  8. I love studs, but I’m on the phone all day, which I find difficult when I have studs in- there just isn’t room for my ear, the earring and the phone! Maybe in another life I’ll get to wear more studs, but for now I’ll just admire all the pretty pairs you have :)

  9. I love wearing stud earrings. It keeps things simple yet adds more *umpf* to the outfit without being so drastic. You can never go wrong with some silver ball studs. :) (or gold)

  10. I’m a pearl girl! Small pearl studs and matching pearl necklace are my staple. Goes with everything! Great post!

  11. I’m jealous – i confess i don’t have my ears pierced b/c I can’t have piercings. However, I do think a classic stud with a twist is very stylish.

  12. Im the same a way! I used to love large earrings but now i love dainty studs. I adore all the ones you picked out xo
