After waiting all year for sunny days to come, I’ve ironically been finding myself shooting in shade now that they’re finally here. So much so, in fact, that I’d temporarily forgotten about the magic and beauty that is golden hour. Catching the light at this glorious time of day is always extra special, and, as corny as it sounds, always makes me feel like I’ve escaped into another realm. This small window of time makes for such lovely photos, and sets the tone for a perfectly peaceful, warm, summer evening.

Taking photos during sunset definitely captures a peaceful vibe, and is probably easier than having the sun drain out your energy while shooting pictures =)

The striped dress is just adorable on you Jen, and I love it with the denim vest! I find I shoot almost exclusively in the shade, but there is something pretty magical about golden hour! I’m absolutely LOVING the arrow necklace, too! It’s adorable. xo!
