I Choo’s You

June 8, 2012

This skirt has officially come full circle: since purchasing it last October, it has now been styled in all four seasons (see: fall | winter | spring & now “summer”). This time around I wore it very simply to attend an event at Jimmy Choo on Bleecker St, which was for the launch of their 24:7 Stylemakers campaign. We were to try on shoes in store and have our photos taken for the site, and I was hoping to find a great pair to elevate the look. I ended up finding a pair of bright yellow pumps, which I now wish existed in my own wardrobe after seeing how much they added to the outfit!

I also finally got to meet and hang out with the lovely Kim of eat.sleep.wear, who was sweet enough to come out in spite of being in the middle of a big move!

Cute! I love closet items that are season-less and can be worn any time of the year. Those are the best investment pieces! =)

The plain white tee is such a perfect way to style the skirt! It really makes it the focus.

That skirt is super cute! You kinda need those yellow pumps in your closet now, they’re too adorable with it. And the event sounds like it was a fab time! I might be a little obsessed with those little glitter-dipped ballet flats…

The Jimmy Choo event looked like shoe heaven and the yellow pair you wore was absolutely perfect with your outfit! Maybe you’ll just have to save up and treat yourself to that pair one day πŸ™‚ I think it’s incredibly wonderful that you got to meet Kim, that photo of you two is too cute.

It is so great to read about your NYC adventure! Can’t wait to see some pictures of you wearing the yellow heels, I am sure you styled it beautifully. Love that necklace you’re wearing btw, didn’t think it would be “just” Banana Republic – it looks divine!
