Even though I have a closet full of neutrals, I’ve always found myself veering toward darker hues. If a piece I’m looking at comes in black and white, I’ll almost exclusively choose the former, telling myself that it’ll be more versatile, more flattering, and – let’s be honest – that I’ll be able to keep it unstained.
Last year, when we got married, I took it as an opportunity to increase the number of white garments in my closet. However, I knew I wanted pieces that could be kept and worn well after the events happened. I’d decided on pants for my bridal shower and had initially considered a jumpsuit, but knew that individual pieces would be a better long-term investment. I ended up purchasing this blouse and these culottes, and I’m happy to report that I’ve been pulling them out frequently this season. And while I love the look of them together, I also often wear them separately, making them both worthwhile closet additions.
