As an appreciator of both aesthetics and functionality, I’ve found that a great bag can sometimes be hard to find. It seems like the ones that look good often aren’t very practical and can’t hold up to much wear and, of course, vice versa. Enter ONA: made especially for photographers, this NYC-based brand has managed to marry both looks and sensibility into their bags. My new Brixton is a classic piece that’s made with the kind of leather that only gets better with age, and it carries everything from my camera and lenses to my MacBook Pro in a non-bulky way. It’s proven to be especially ideal on the long days out when we need to do a shoot and then do work on the laptop immediately afterward. And while it’s slightly bit on the heavy side for me (thanks, weak arms!), the fact that it’s gender neutral means my boyfriend and I can share the carrying duties when we’re out together.
Thank you to Ona for partnering with me on this post! All opinions are my own.
