Although I’m trying to make many of the gifts I’m giving this year, there’s still something to be said about finding a piece in store that’s just right for someone. When it comes to purchasing presents, I like to get things that the recipient will actually be able to use frequently. Since there are still a few months of cold weather after Christmas is over, cozy accessories that are both practical and stylish have been a top pick. Here are a few of my favourites from TOPSHOP Canada this season, including the blanket scarf that’s been ever so popular this year, and booties that I own and have been wearing constantly (seen here)!

As lovely as a wool overcoat looks in the winter, the warmth and coziness levels often seem to leave a little something to be desired. This year, I’ve found myself reaching for the practical parka more and more often as I head out the door. To keep it the look from appearing too boring, I like to throw on heeled but comfortable booties, a structured bag, and a healthy dose of bright lipstick to lend some polish to an otherwise casual outfit.
