Tie Me a Bow

November 11, 2010

These amazing Wolford tights have been in hiding ever since my boyfriend brought them back from his trip to Europe this summer. I’ve been saving them because I can’t bring myself to put on a pair of tights so expensive, especially since my usual sheer ones tend to get ripped the second I start pulling them on because of carelessness. However, thanks to super cautious, fingernail free wearing and pulling off as well as Wolford quality, I am happy to say that they are still unscathed after the first wear!

Excuse the lack of smiling in these photos. If you’re interested in why, it’s because in between a full day of classes and errands, we cannot fit in the time to take photos while the light is still out now that daylight savings is in effect! I feel very bad because I’ve been taking my frustrations out on my dear boyfriend, who has been nothing but patient and amazing. But to hopefully allow you to understand a bit better, this is the third set of photos we’ve taken since the last update and sadly, this was the only one with photos deemed good enough to post. I need solutions! Please help??

Wearing: H&M blouse and fur snood, Zara skirt and peeptoes, Wolford tights

Those tights are BRILLIANT. My gosh! I haven’t figured out the solution with daylight savings either… It’s such a pain ’cause once I get off class it’s dark out already! WHY?!

PS- These photos are super duper adorable, and I love how the skirt puffs out the slightest wee bit 🙂

Those tights are HOT! You look amazing and the outfit is fab too! As for taking photos, I’m taking them early in mornings or on the weekends. I guess some sacrifices need to be made for sunny photos.

Tights are amazing! I know the feeling about not wanting to wear expensive sheer ones for fear of tearing them. I even tore a pair of thicker ones the other day on the first wear!

Those are amazing tights and Wolford ones are more durable than other brands 🙂

These tights are too awesome for words! I love the whole outfit. As for taking pictures, I’ve just forced myself to try and get up 30-minutes earlier so I can take pictures when the sun is up but not shining directly onto my picture spot yet. It’s tough to force myself out of bed, but then look at all my bad photos and it’s just the motivation I need. Good luck!

You look amazing as always. Those tights are hot. Daylight savings is killing me too. I haven’t had an output post for a while because of that. I think I have to take photo of several outfits on the weekend and use them throughout the week

Holy sexy girl, you look amazing!!!

I’m having the same problem too. By the time I get home from work it’s pitch black out 🙁 I’m hoping to get up early on the weekend and take pictures of all my outfits from the week. We’ll see how the getting up early works out though 😛

THOSE WOLFORD TIGHTS!! They look so darling on you. <3 I think on the wrong person and styled poorly, they could look too sexy, but you don't have anything to worry about.

I take most of my pictures indoors, so I’m not effected. Maybe earlier in the morning since it’s super bright out by 7!

Super cute tights! I share your fear of ripping nice tights because I am really careless too…I couldn’t help you with the taking pictures under dim conditions problem since my pictures are super blurry because I take them indoors with poor lighting. I am sure some other bloggers can help!

take them indoors where there is plenty of light like in a shopping mall or even at home. or play around with the settings to the camera and use a tripod and long exposure… 🙂 good luck!

seriously, can an outfit get any more perfect than this? NO! This is absolutely breathtaking. Leopard and fur just scream elegance! And the Wolford tights are cute but not juvenile, sexy but not trashy. I’m officially in love 🙂

I feel you with the pain of taking pictures after Daylight Saving Time 🙁

You my dear are stunning. The fur snood is gorgeous (is it really from H&M?) I also have that blouse and it looks great on you! You are so lucky to have a bf that would bring you back a gift so stylish! Drooling over those tights 🙂

DST is definitely a pain. i have research lab until 7 pm usually so there’s no time to take pictures except on the weekends. i do that too to my poor bf who never deserved such girly pms snapping. it’s okay 🙂 it’s the lack of sunlight driving us nuts! i just love your little fur and those darling tights
