If you’ve been following me here or on Instagram, you might know that I’m getting married this summer! For the last couple of months, I’ve been arranging collaborations and working on some content related to the wedding. Let’s be real – most of this nuptial planning process is just kind of stressful, but one thing I’m really enjoying is getting to work with some incredible local women in the industry to make my aesthetic vision come to life. I’m looking forward to sharing some of this with you over the next few months!

So here’s my very first post today, talking bridal hair and make up trials. Recently, I got together with my wedding make up and hair artists, Katie Elwood and Jen Matheson to trial my bridal look. This is a service that requires a bit of an extra cost, but apparently somewhere around 90% of brides invest in it, and for good reason. I was able to get to know my artists, learn what I like, and also what I’d like changed for the day of. Below are some tips on how to make the most of your trial!
