yacht style
How do you know when you’ve made a good buying decision? I’m not entirely sure, but I think I definitely did with this Madewell tee: after finding it on sale a few weeks ago, I wore it about three times too many before even putting it in the wash for the first time. It’s also so soft that I’ve slept in it after wearing it for a day, and then kept it on for the day after. It’s gotten to the point where my questionable hygiene has become a bit of a running joke with my friends. As ridiculous as this all is, the extent that I’ve been satisfied with this tee has been something I want to carry on into future purchases: I certainly hope to learn to be thoughtful enough with my purchases that every future closet addition will be as well-loved as this piece has been so far.

Also, I don’t often get opportunities to hang out on a yacht, so a special thank you goes out to Airbnb for hosting an amazing evening of sailing aboard the Oriana recently! I love the concept of this company and it was such a treat to get to experience it in this unique way (this yacht is a real listing on the site!).

  1. Cute top! I have a super cute Madewell necklace that just says ‘Bien’ and it’s a fave.

  2. Such a classic yet chic graphic text tee and the lace skirt is so pretty! It sounds like an awesome experience to be on a yacht, thanks for sharing!

  3. I love this look! It’s so simple but classy. I think I’m also biased because I love black & white.
