This summer’s been all about dresses: comfortable, casual frocks that are easy to throw on and don’t require much when it comes to accessorizing. And this nautically inspired dress, found in Singapore this past spring, is one of the pieces that started it all. I knew that it’d be a wear-forever kind of piece since, although I don’t find myself wanting to wear a lot of colour these days, classics like cherry red and navy blue have been the exception… especially when combined into warm weather appropriate, no-fuss pieces like this one.
Dress: from Singapore (similar) | Tote: GiGi New York (c/o) | Sandals: J.Crew (on sale) | Watch: Daniel Wellington (c/o – get 15% off all watches here with code ‘jentam’) | Necklace: Jeweliq | Lips: Estee Lauder in Rich Red
Those stripes are so incredibly adorable! Love that they’re not just the classic navy stripes, but have something more with that pop of red.

Love, love, love this. Red and navy blue together is my absolute favorite thing, because it looks so perfect. I also love your trench coat outfit on the first page; neutrals are so simplistic and chic. God bless!
