best skincare
One of first signs that tell me the seasons are changing is when my skin begins to go crazy. I used to have no idea why it reacted so aversely during the winter months, but after a few years of trial and error I’ve been able to figure out that the root cause for me is usually dryness and lack of consistency with my skincare routine. With that being said, here are a few new (and old) products that I’m starting to use now and looking forward to continue using through the colder months!
clarisonic review
The Clarisonic is the best thing I’ve come across for a thorough cleansing, especially on the days that I wear make up. This cleanser from fresh is a no-nonsense, gentle yet effective cleanser that goes perfectly with the Mia.
sephora
Although I do like the taste of coffee, I try to avoid consuming caffeine as much as I can because my body doesn’t react very well to it. Topically, though, my skin loves the effects! These two Black Tea products provide firming and cooling; the eye cream is an especially good pick-me-up after night of less-than-decent sleep!
her waise choice skin
Last year I discovered facial oils and have never looked back: they add a rich moisture that seems to absorb so much better into my skin than moisturizers do and have been able to calm my skin in a unique way. I haven’t yet met a face oil I didn’t like, and these two will be in the lineup all winter long.

  1. I’ve wanted to try face oils since last year, but I couldn’t figure out which one to try first. I’ll have to give the fresh and Boscia ones a go!
