As naturally beautiful as Vancouver is, when it gets dark at night, it gets dark. Because of that, I’ve never even wanted to attempt taking photos for the blog in the evening. While I was in Hong Kong last month, I realized that with of the plethora of neon signs, ads, and light fixtures, it was still bright when night fell – almost as bright as day! Light pollution aside, it was quite refreshing –especially since I have self diagnosed SAD and don’t exactly like the nighttime. Terry graciously took me around to different parts of the city to take it all in for our second shoot, capturing it all along the way.

  1. Nighttime in metropolitan cities like Hong Kong are so amazing to experience! I love that this is a night time shoot that doesn’t feel like night at all. That photo of the city glowing with light from the centre is stunning.

  4. Amazing city views here, dear Jen…and the “downtown” feel of your black and white outfit suits the venue just perfectly!!

  5. The city view in the fourth picture is simply amazing. I’ve looked at Vancouver from that angle at night time (from Cypress mountain’s lookout). It’s pretty too, but nowhere as pretty as this. Love you dress btw!
