Lately, all I have wanted to wear are relaxed and comfortable ensembles. Of course, this shouldn’t equate to looking sloppy. My solution? Very basic, neutral and easy-to-wear pieces peppered with standout accessories: a structured bag, leopard print shoes, and of course to epitomize French chic, a bright red beret.

Wearing: Unbranded cocoon coat, Zara sweater and kitten heels, 7 For All Mankind pants, Aldo beret, Michael Kors sunglasses, Coach bracelet, vintage Bally bag

  1. Jen… oh so chic girlie!! I love that you never sacrifice style, even when you want to dress “comfortably”. :) You always wear leopard/cheetah print in the most tasteful ways… :) I hope you enjoyed your holiday my dear.. 2011 is here in two days! Are you ready? I am and I can’t wait!!! And I still have a little something for you, I just need to get my bum to the mailroom.

  7. I love this outfit! That coat is gorgeous (and I’m dying for the lace detail on the collar). So pretty & very French chic. :)

  8. You’re much more disciplined than I am. I would have gone for the sloppy looking sweat pants. But just to be stylish I would tuck them into Hunter rain boots and wear a necklace.
    ;)
You look so cute! Love everything you are wearing. All of it.

  9. Indeed, very Frenchy :D I love the beret, especially beacuse it’s a hot red! It looks very cool.
    Happy New Year’s Eve!

  10. So cute! I love the red lips, beret, and leopard print heels–they really dress up the neutral pieces you’re wearing. And your vintage Bally bag is mesmerizing; it’s such an interesting juxtaposition of the drawstring pouch bag and the structured handbag which makes it much more unique and intriguing than the usual drawstring and structured bags you see.

  11. I love the pop of colour from the beret and the leopard print. Very french indeed. I have just found your blog and will definitely be following.

  23. Oh my goodness! You are so adorable. The cutest and most well dressed Frenchie-esque fashionista in Vancouver. Love the mix of leopard prints, patterns, and bold colours. I also love how your lipstick matches your beret! Tres chic.

Your vintage Bally bag is awesome. Perfect little petite size, just enough for all your essential items.
