Getting caught in the rain is not often thought of as the most desirable situation to be in, but once in a while it can come as a blessing in disguise. A sudden downpour during a particularly busy day recently turned out to be the perfect excuse to slow down: I was treated to a good hour just sitting, reflecting and watching the rain with my matcha latte, and by the time the deluge let up I felt just as refreshed as the city streets.

  1. Ooh, Jen, I love your pants, and love them even more with the shoes! Such a great pairing! And props for managing to take adorable outfit photos in the rain – I always get in the mindset that rainy days ruin blog photo sessions, but you’ve managed to completely turn it around! Love it!

  6. How can you make a rainy day look so lovely? I mostly look like a puffy haired drowned rat once caught in the rain! Those pants are A+ as always.

  9. You got the amazing Joe Fresh orange soled heels! I fell in love with those as soon as I saw them, but of course they didn’t make their way to the Summerside location.

In any case, you’ve styled them beautifully!

  10. Roderick and Paul sure do take beautiful photos! It helps that they have such a lovely subject as well :) Your iPad case is so chic, I thought it was clutch at first. And I love matcha lattes!
