I realize how cliché it sounds to say it’s great to shop your closet, but rediscovering a special piece always reinforces how great it can be. This romper hadn’t left the confines of my closet since 2011, when I wore it instead of a cocktail dress to a friend’s birthday. Inspired by this gorgeous Club Monaco romper the other day, I pulled this forgotten beauty out and wore it in a casual look for an after work coffee date with Alex.

I’m in love. Rompers are the perfect piece for summer. The only thing I wonder–are they a pain in the ass when you go to the bathroom? I have a jumpsuit and I hate it in the bathroom. LOL.
