Through the process of purging and tightly editing my wardrobe in the past year, my closet now consists of relatively similar silhouettes: most pieces seem to veer towards simple and no-nonsense shapes, with occasional pops of colour, pattern, or texture to add interest. This skirt was certainly a departure from that, and although the slit seemed a little intimidating at first, it’s definitely become a welcome closet addition — especially when paired with a favourite classic colour palette of black, white, and red.

  1. I truly love that skirt, the model looks so unique, that split it’s just the right amount of risk into an outfit, and you made it perfectly!

  2. Wow!! This is a stunning look, dear Jen!! Very different from your usual silhouette…but equally flattering; sometimes it’s worthwhile to step out of the box, isn’t it?!
