Sometimes you don’t realize just how much a look is lacking until you find that one extra piece: this outfit started off sans hat at the beginning of the day, and I was thoroughly happy with how it came together. Then the perfect topper (which will work with a multitude of other outfits in the colder months!) was randomly found at a local boutique, making me realize just how much it was missing! You are so cute! I absolutely love hats, but I swear I have the biggest head, or at least an oddly formed one, so whenever I try hats on (aka trying to get one at Aritzia for $25), they just don’t fit. It’s sad really. Lucky you managed to find one that actually fits, I’m jealous!

Though the outfit would have still been fabulous without the hat (as evidenced in the last pic), I think it does give it a little something else. I’m loving the CM core of this outfit, that skirt is seriously one of my fave things that I own in my closet and the nautical sweater is such a great addition! Beautiful outfit love.
