Mixing in navy blue with neutrals (yes, leopard is a neutral) has easily been one of my favourite combos lately since it makes for easy, fuss free and naturally classic dressing (I used it in my last outfit, and also in this one). I opted for the super-casual and pared down rendition of these hues over the weekend for some afternoon errands followed by a simple dinner out.

Happy Monday!

Those flats are adoooorable! Gah! My hunt for a leopard print flat must come to an end soon - I can't find any in person, but am headed to Montreal this weekend so hopefully, MAYBE, I will finally find the pair I've been looking for! I LOVE these ones! So cute.

So gorgeous as always Jen! I love how you opted for neutrals (stripes & leopard print definitely are neutrals in my book as well). I adore that little sweater of yours, it's so nautical and looks amaaazing with your hair up!

Stripes, skinnies, and ballet flats are such a timeless combination. Chic but casual - love it!

I've been wearing more navy lately, too. I think it just feels much fresher than black. My favorite colors to wear with it seem to be pink and green!

I just stumbled across your blog, and I absolutely love it! Your style is incredible. You're so adorable, it made me smile! And your "About me" section at the top REALLY spoke to me.

Oh and of course, great outfit! I wear a lot of animal print as accent pieces too. It's a much more interesting neutral than say, black flats!

I hope you're having a lovely day!

I agree whole-heartedly; leopard is a neutral :) I've been absolutely loving your return to the classic, Jen, you wear the simplest pieces with such style and grace. And that shade of lipstick is just phenomenal on you.

Love this look! You've totally inspired me (as usual). I've never paired navy and leopard print, but I do have a pair of leopard flats so I'm going to have to give it a try! I always think leopard has to be worn with black or brown; I guess I can credit that to my matchy-matchy upbringing. I'm still learning to be adventurous!
