Having never had the benefit of two photographers before, we thought it would be fun to post a few photos that our boyfriends got of each other and other "behind the scenes" images! Enjoy.

Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to meet with the delightful and lovely Mina of Faboulista for photos and dinner. With it being my first blogger meet up, I was anxious and unsure of how it would be. But I was so surprised with how well we (and our boyfriends) hit it off! The first thing she said to me when we met is that she was thisclose to purchasing and showing up in the jacket that I was wearing! And I loved the way she accessorized. Between our two great photographers (our boyfriends), we got around 600 shots! So I've narrowed it down just a bit for you all.

Another get together is already in the works! Can't wait :)

Ever come across a designer that speaks right to your aesthetic? So much so that you can't help but wonder, just a little bit, if the clothes were made for you?

Milly by Michelle Smith is one that hits the mark for me time and time again. Ever since I started having a slight interest in following fashion, which was roughly 5 years ago, her designs have inspired me. Season after season, I always find at least a few looks that I would like to wear right off the runway, styled just as they are.

The prints, the textures, the girlishness, the whimsical nature of her designs (and need I get started on her amazing accessories?!)-- I love all of it!

Here are just a few looks from recent shows:

Are there any designers that never fail to impress you, whose clothes which almost feel like they were made with you in mind?

True

Do you ever put something on and feel so quintessentially "you" in it-- wherein you feel like you've captured the essence of your personal style perfectly with an outfit? Of course, that's what I hope to find every day, and perhaps it is inexperience that causes me to falter, but it doesn't always happen for me all the time. However, that's what I felt when I threw together this outfit today. The result? Confidence and cheer in spite of lack of sleep and a bad hair day. Isn't it great that something as simple as clothing can do wonders to boost the spirits?

Black. White. Sheer. Silky. Emerald Green and Golden touches. Nothing more, nothing less.

P.S. The glasses in the first photo are just a joke... they belonged to my boyfriend's father back in the day and we thought it would be fun to throw them on!

P.P.S. Readers: I've been pondering about this for a while now. What do you like to read about on fashion blogs? Is it the outfit posts? Compilations of "must-haves"? Random musings? Posts with guest appearances? I would really love some feedback and so that I can be able to tailor my blog more to your liking-- so PLEASE let me know!
