{Off the plane and ready to explore!}
Here are some photos from the first stop of my recent vacation: London, England! It was my first time there, and I was excited from the onset as the city was positively bursting with energy and excitement. We stopped by all the must-see sights, went high street shopping, went for traditional high tea and even took in a musical (Andrew Lloyd Webber's Love Never Dies). One disappointment stemmed from lack of proper research prior to visiting Portabello Market: we got off the Underground at the Notting Hill exit and walked around for a good 2 hours before we got to the Vintage and Fashion Market (I didn't know it was a separate area). By the time we got there, they were closing so I didn't get to explore it for treasures! Regardless, I fell in love with the city and am hoping to go back one day, as I know I haven't even grazed the surface of it!

{First stop: high-tea at Fortnum & Mason - an absolutely lovely shop}

{Buckingham Palace!}

{An Underground station during its quieter hours}

{London Eye}

{Double decker red buses on Regent Street, my favourite shopping street out of the 'big' ones}

{Uploaded this photo just for Mae - we went to eat at Eat!}

{Beautiful tulips at Portabello Market}

{Notting Hill}

These photos are just gorgeous- I haven't been to London for years, and when I did visit I was too young to fully enjoy it. Definitely counting the days until I can go back, and these shots are a lovely peak inside. It's a shame you didn't get to see much of the market, hopefully your next trip is soon so that you can explore it fully :)

random passerby simply commenting because i recently took a trip to london, so it's funny to see photos of places i just saw in real life -- and can also commiserate on the not-seeing-portabello-market thing as my friend and i arrived to see an empty street :/

awwwwwwwwww.. what a place to be!

Ugh Jen, you make me so jealous! I wish I could have gone :( It's an impossible dream, I'll just have to wait until I'm completely done school and hopefully settled down! I adore all these photos showcasing the "best" of London (imagine that being said with an English accent... right? I know, I try). THE FOOD LOOKS GOOD. Also, you managed to look so impeccably chic, I don't know how you do it <3
How was the musical? I'm quite a fan of musicals :) It's a shame you didn't find the market earlier, that just makes for a round 2 you have to do, except with a whole bunch of Canadian Bloggers, am I right or right? ;)!

I've been searching everywhere for a good leopard scarf and I found it on you! (Was that a little creepy? lol). Do you mind telling me what brand it is and where you got it? ^ _ ^
