Maxed Out



A very simple ensemble today to showcase the beautiful vintage maxi skirt (from Germany!) I found on Boxing Day of all days. The rounded, pleated waistline is oh so flattering and differentiates it just enough to place it in a class all its own. These were taken on a perfectly windy day and the skirt flowed beautifully in the breeze!











Last month I mentioned in my Flare Magazine feature that Amrita Singh is my current favourite jewelry designer. So you can imagine how thrilled I was when they kindly sent over these pretty Breese earrings. Check back in a few days for a chance to win a pair of your own, valued at $100USD!

    Love the maxi skirt. You look absolutely adorable in this outfit. You wear the bright red lipstick so well. I've tried to wear the same color last week but it didn't look so good on me.

  20. Simple, elegant, and beautiful. I love how the maxi skirt adds drama, and seeing how good it looks on you just goes to disprove the notion that petite girls can't wear maxi skirts without looking short!

    The maxi skirt is all kinds of amazingness! If we lived closer and I was as teeny as you, I'd ask to borrow it!! Well, this is, if you wanted to share. hee hee. I've been wanting a long chiffon maxi for so long, and have found serveral that I really like, but I'm also not willing to spend a couple hundred on one. :/ So, I bought black chiffon a couple months ago, in hopes of sewing myself a skirt, but still haven't gotten around to making one. Hopefully soon!
