Since David's last name begins with an 'H', he (and his family) have a penchant for all things Hermès (how cute!). And for as long as I've known him, he has almost always preferred to wear this reversible belt on the bright signature orange side instead of the classic black. Well, he's obviously way more stylish than I am, as it wasn't until recently that I realized how perfect it is as a colourful accent. He was sweet enough to let me borrow it today to instill a pop of cheer into my otherwise simple look.
P.S. Yes, my jeans totally do need to be shortened! Not foolin' anyone with those bunched up hems.
Wearing: H&M blouse, Forever 21 top, jeans from Saks Off Fifth, Zara sandals, Aldo clutch, Hermès belt (borrowed from boyfriend)
I didn't even notice the bunched up hems til you said so! Your boyfriend is obviously more stylish than mine.. mine would never wear an orange belt haha. Love your shoes!

Adorable! I have a penchant for all things Hermès too, but...I don't have a single H in my name. Oh well! (It's also lightyears from fitting into my budget so I guess I have a penchant from afar.)
ReplyDeleteI love the way you mix patterns, too. I never would have thought to pair that clutch and blouse, but it looks gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteI can't beleive I've gone so long without knowing about so many fabulous Vancouver bloggers, you included, of course! I stumbled upon your blog via Alexandra's (which is funny, since it seems you found mine the same way.)I just love your cheerful, classic style- the orHermes orange belt really is a perfect accent to this look (and I completely sympathise with the pants needing to be hemmed issue. I have a 30' inseam on a good day; good luck finding pants that are short enough for that!) I am most definitely your newest follower, and it would be lovely if you could join in at one of our Vancouver blogger gatherings sometime soon :)
