September thus far has been surprisingly hot, with temperatures that have exceeded what we experienced in the actual summer months. To make the most of it, I threw on a bright, cheerful ensemble this weekend and set out to explore less familiar areas of the city... complete with plenty of breaks for ice cream and coffee in between.

that dress is tdf!! today is the first day its cooling down here, kind of sad. i'll need to do the opposite and dress cheerfully despite the weather!

Such a great look! I'm glad summer decided to stick around for an extra month, although part of me is yearning to don fall clothes already.

ReplyDeleteI'm jealous of your weather. We're still waiting for summer here in San Francisco!

Love love this outfit - The September temps have been so warm here too! I have been wanting to incorporate fall pieces into outfit posts, but it's just too soon. I'll be regretting it when the cold is here.

There are so many things I admire about your style Jen, but near the top of the list is the fact that everything in your wardrobe seems to go together. You seem to have mastered the skill of buying versatile multi-wear-and-use pieces, and I'm dying to know your secret :) I think I love that Rachel Roy dress even more as a top, if that's possible!

Jen! What a stunning look! You have the loveliest style. So feminine and pretty!
ReplyDeleteGood call with the ice cream by the way. Too bad it was cloudy this morning. Ice cream is a good way to get rid of the clouds! ;)
Lovely outfit! The blouse is a perfect transition piece... bright enough for summer, but with colors that also remind me of fall.

I'm not entirely sure I could hang with Vancouver Temperatures. It's surely hot here in summers (upwards of 30C - 40's C with humidity--like Toronto), and much, much colder (and wetter) here in the winter (more so than Toronto)... but to have clouds and cold for a lot of the summer? I'm not so sure about that. Although Fall is my favorite time of year... Maybe... I don't know.
ReplyDeleteYou're more than welcome to come visit Nate and me in Hawaii next year if you're in the market for eternal summer and get sick of your rain there in V-town. :)
