I didn't have cake for my birthday this year (I know, right?!), so when Cee organized a blogger clothing swap / birthday party for September babies, I knew I had to go. This time around, 8 girls chatted and swapped the afternoon away, along with several sweet and selfless husbands / boyfriends to help with photos.

Oh my gosh, your blazer!! I was sure it was the new one from J.Crew that I have been SWOONING over but cannot justify buying (nearly $300... sigh!) and was shocked to see that yours is vintage!! I am so in love with the blue/green tartan - it's so nostalgic somehow! This whole outfit is adorable! As are all you birthday girls!! So cute! xo.

it was a true pleasure to meet you - finally! in truth, i've been keeping my eyes extra open and aware while walking the city streets hoping for a chance run into with you : ) happiness it happened and was such a grand day filled with cake, clothes and stellar chit-chat!!
David was all kinds of colossal cool, in a room full of giggling girls he really knew how to maneuver and get the best shots. i really liked catching glimpses of you two quietly talking, you're both the most gentle, heart in the right place people. i kinda really digged your shop in the boys department tip too...starting to incorporate my fashion sense in that direction thanks to you! i dare say, you are more beautiful in person and that's a hard thing to imagine since in your photos you're like out of this world gorgeous. i think the spirit coupled with the great charisma you embody makes anyone close by see it all the more. have a wonderful weekend Jen! xoox ♥

Jen, I am so sorry that it's taken me this long to stop by your beautiful blog- it's honestly one of my favourites and it makes me so happy to see your posts! School has been getting steadily more intense, but I'm sure a routine will work our soon (fingers crossed!)
