Colour blocking and pattern mixing are two of my favourite things to do when putting together a look, so its become a pretty natural tendency to start doing them together. To prevent an outfit from looking like too much of a jumbled mess, I tend to stick to colours that aren't overly bright and use "safe" patterns. My favourite, of course, is leopard: a print which, to be honest, I now use almost exclusively as a neutral anyway. Happy Wednesday!

Stunning, what a gorgeous pairing of colours. And that jacket... oh my goodness, absolutely smitten with the texture & bits of leather. You're always such an inspiration Jen - adore your style! xo

Hi Jen!
I'm always impressed at how you mix colors and prints. I can't believe tweed and leopard would look this good. I wish I have this instinct for pattern/color mixing as well.
And yes, I used leopard as one of my neutrals too!

Who says leopard isn't a neutral? Or red, for that matter? (I honestly have myself convinced of that at this point. Rationalisation, much?!) This is a beautiful colour combination, Jen, and the addition of leopard only makes it better :)

This is beautiful, Jen. I didn't even think of colour blocking when I first saw this look because it's so effortless and the colours just "go." Leopard IS a neutral, I stand by you on that one :)
