With their leg lengthening and slimming abilities, single soled (i.e. sans-platform) pointed pumps have become something of a wardrobe staple for me. A more wallet friendly version of the Manolo Blahnik 'BB' pumps, my cobalt and metallic silver J.Crew Everlys have been worn on heavy rotation all year, paired with everything from boyfriend jeans to cocktail dresses. I love that they are Italian made and fully leather, and when I found the classic black iteration on major sale over the weekend, I had to pick them up. Are you a fan of the single sole pointy pump?

Nice basic black pumps!

I would love to see you do a "what to wear to a wedding" post =) I think its that time of the year where a lot of my friends are getting married and I find it quite hard to pick out a wedding appropriate outfit!

I'm a fan for sure. The J.Crew Everly pump is definitely a great heel. Enough height, and it's a heel you can actually wear all day long (or so I'd hope! lol!) Last month, while on Oahu, I found the silver pair on super sale ($70), but it was a half size too small. BOO!

Pumps have definitely been my heel of choice as I move into buying more shoes that are appropriate for going to class and hanging out on Friday nights – so versatile! Now if only I could find a nice nude pair haha. Hope you've been having a lovely week xx
