Even though it's undoubtedly getting very cold very fast, I am still in denial about the fact that I probably need to be pulling out the winter coats. I love a good trench, so to negate the fact that we don't have nearly enough time in a year to wear them here, I've been layering whatever I can underneath to add some extra warmth to my ensembles. Wearing a faux fur vest inside (yes, the vest again... have I sold you on one yet?) not only prolongs trench coat-appropriate time, but also adds another element of interest to the look.

I love this trench so much - the gold button detail wins me over big time! And I love that you layered your fur vest underneath... I think my fur vest is too big and bulky to wear under a coat, unfortunately... I would end up looking like a hunch back! You look absolutely darling as always, Jen! I LOVE that skirt, I was admiring it from Dahlia as well! xo!

I love that trench, Jen! And I have a question about your heels/tights combo... whenever I wear heels and tights together, the tights make my feet slip out of the shoes easier, I guess because there's less friction. Does this happen to you too?
